We often say that brand new Woven Sandals are "comically" tight. That's because we don't use any chrome, chemicals or metals to tan and soften our leather. But once they start to form to your feet, they will stretch, soften and take on a rich patina. We highly recommend getting either your feet or new sandals damp in order to quicken the break-in process! They will stretch and fit your feet perfectly in no time.

Overall condition and leather patina varies from like-new to slightly darker – some pairs have spent time in the sun or tried on more than once or might have light blemishes or scratches. Due to these characteristics, some pairs might even feel a bit broken in or softer, which we think is a huge score and are truly one-of-a-kind.

Some pairs in the Honey colorway might differ in patina between a light pale honey to a more rich, somewhat saturated honey. Leather takes on its patina the more you wear them and the elements they're exposed to (such as wearing them after getting out of the ocean), so they will darken and take on a deeper patina once you start wearing them.
