If it's our arch support, massage beads, elevated heal cup or snug fits, Okabashi's are inspired by the principles of reflexology. Using this understanding of your foot's anatomy we have created the most comfortable, supportive and reliable thongs, slides and sandals you will ever put on your feet.

So what’s the material? We have to keep some of our bio-based blend secret but what we can tell you is that our shoes are made from 40% soy grown in the USA and 25% of recycled material, some of which is our own manufacturing scraps. Our shoes do not contain any BPA, latex or phthalate.

Our shoes are either created to be a one-piece design or have reinforced joining of the sole and strap. This allows for shoes that are far more durable than cheap flip flops. The longer they last, the less waste we have and the less damage we do to our environment.

We have been making shoes in Buford, Gorgia since 1984. With a family owned local approach, we maintain full control over every aspect of the product, allowing us to uphold the highest standards of quality, comfort, and sustainability.
